As a company with a long history of tradition, we feel deeply connected to our region. At our production site, it is possible for us to be close to our clientele, but also to social life, which can be extremely inspiring. This is how, in collaboration with the artist José Schloss, a creative project was born that is particularly close to our hearts.
Based in the Black Forest, inspired by various travel destinations and interpersonal relationships, José Schloss is constantly searching for new forms of expression for his creativity. This has already resulted in a variety of unique works, characterised by magnificent bouquets of flowers that are as varied and colourful as life itself. It is precisely this creative way of expressing his feelings through diverse floral motifs with their fine nuances of colour that inspired us to present our 0140 FLOWER series in a new design. We chose a picture from the series "Les fleurs sans parfum" as the motif.
"It all starts with an idea. The series "Fleurs sans parfum - Flowers without fragrance" describes experiences, feelings and emotions that the artist has experienced within the last few months. The painted unique pieces are inspired by places, journeys, interpersonal experiences and expressions of these. "Flowers without fragrance" describes a metaphorical story of understanding, appreciating and experiencing one's perceptions at second glance. What is the first thing you notice about flowers? Their colours? When you focus on them, can you smell them?"
